Padreo is Grupo BanBan's newest club, opened in 2023 on C. Bajada del Castillo, 1, in the centre of El Puerto de Santa María. Its tagline is “Not a typical club” and the group describes it as a high-energy room with well-known DJs from the Spanish scene. How to Get to Padreo
Padreo is at C. Bajada del Castillo, 1, in the old town, next to the Castillo de San Marcos according to third-party guides. Everything in the centre is walkable: Guateque, Banana and Gold are all close by.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
No dress code is published. Third-party guides mention a smart look and a minimum age of 18 or 23 depending on the event, which is shown on each ticket. Bring your DNI or passport.
A club that opens when El Puerto is full
Padreo doesn't work like a normal weekend club. Grupo BanBan, which runs it, says plainly that it opens “in holiday periods and for special events”, with tightly concentrated schedules. Its Instagram bio currently reads “CERRADO TEMPORALMENTE” (temporarily closed). In 2026 the season started on 30 June, with a post announcing “new nights, new memories”, and the last post of the summer is from 11 August. In 2025 the pattern was similar: the farewell post went up on 1 September. So if you're in El Puerto in July or August, Padreo is on the map. In October it isn't, and we'd rather tell you that than send you to a closed door. Its Instagram is the first place where a new season or a special opening gets announced, and the calendar on this page shows the dates as soon as tickets go on sale.
What it's like
Padreo opened in 2023 and is BanBan's most recent club; the group calls it “our latest CLUB!”. It describes it as a high-energy room with the best-known DJs from the Spanish scene, and the club's own line is “Not a typical club”. It's on C. Bajada del Castillo, 1, in the old town. If you know Guateque, think of Padreo as the summer sibling: same group, same centre of town, but built for the peak of the season rather than for every weekend. Its 2026 opening post promised “the same urge to dance until the sun comes up”, which gives you an idea of how late the nights go. Being seasonal, it works in concentrated runs of dates rather than with a fixed weekly party.
Tickets and when to buy them
When Padreo has dates, tickets are sold online and appear in the calendar on this page. Third-party guides quote “from €10 with a drink”, which is only a rough reference (consulted 11/10/2026), and a minimum age of 18 or 23 depending on the event. Since it only opens on concentrated dates, the nights tend to be busy. Buy as soon as the date is published, especially for August weekends. If the calendar is empty, it means there are no dates on sale yet, not that something is broken. A tip for any seasonal club: follow its Instagram from late spring, because the opening tends to be announced close to the date. In 2026, the opening post went up on 30 June.
Where to go while Padreo is closed
Out of season, the centre of El Puerto still has options within walking distance of Padreo. Guateque, from the same group, is open and posting weekly. Banana, on Ribera del Marisco, says it opens every day. Gold opens on Fridays and Saturdays on Avenida Micaela Aramburu. For something more relaxed, La Cristalera by the Guadalete opens on Fridays and Saturdays and has brought back its live concerts.
