Clubs in El Puerto de Santa María 2026–27: What's Open and When
Updated:
Search for clubs in El Puerto de Santa María and you'll find lists that still include places that closed years ago, or beach clubs that haven't opened since July. This guide is different in one simple way: it only includes venues with activity confirmed in autumn 2026, and for each one it tells you the days it says it opens, where it is and whether it's open right now. Checked on 11 October 2026.
At a glance
| Venue | Type | Area | Days now | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Banana | Nightclub | Ribera del Marisco | Every day (bio) | Open all year |
| Guateque | Nightclub | Centre | See calendar | Open |
| Gold | Nightclub | Micaela Aramburu | Fri & Sat | Open |
| La Cristalera | Pub-club | Riverside, centre | Fri & Sat | Open |
| La Cristalera VH | Pub-club | Vistahermosa | Thu, Fri & Sat | Open |
| Padreo | Nightclub | Centre | Summer and holidays | Temporarily closed |
The days come from each venue's own Instagram bio or posts, checked on 11 October 2026. They can change for special dates and they change a lot in summer, when several of these places open every day.
1. Banana: the one that's always open
Banana is on Ribera del Marisco, 13, and calls itself “your favourite club in the centre of El Puerto”. Its bio says “Open every day”, and in September and October 2026 it kept announcing nights every week. Fridays have a name since 25 September: El Eskakeo. In summer 2026 there were Latin Fridays with guest artists and themed weeknights. Banana belongs to Grupo Banana, not to Grupo BanBan, a mix-up you'll see in many listings. Tickets are sold online and it takes table bookings.

2. Guateque: the urban room in the old town
Guateque is at Plaza Juan de la Cosa, 2, and Grupo BanBan calls it “our first CLUB!”. The music is mostly urban, with concerts and special sessions on some dates, and the room has a playful design with phrases painted on the walls. It posted twice a week through September and October 2026. Third-party guides give a minimum age of 18 or 20 depending on the party and quote advance tickets from €10 with a drink, as an orientative figure consulted on 11/10/2026.

3. Gold: weekends with a Latin start
Gold is at Avenida Micaela Aramburu, 24, and its bio says it opens Friday and Saturday. Its programme for the first autumn weekend shows its style: a salsa, bachata and kizomba session on Friday followed by a DJ, and Gold Night with a DJ on Saturday. It offers VIP reservados. In summer it opens far more: Tuesday to Sunday in July 2026 and every day in August.

4. La Cristalera: pub-club on the river
Strictly speaking, La Cristalera is a pub-club, not a nightclub: a pub with a DJ and a big terrace over the Guadalete, on Plaza de las Galeras Reales. It's where Grupo BanBan started in 2013, and the group describes it as a reference for tardeo and nights out. It opens Fridays and Saturdays, and in October 2026 it brought its live concerts back. Tripadvisor lists it among the town's dance clubs, which is fair: people dance here.

5. La Cristalera Vistahermosa: the option outside the centre
The second Cristalera opened in 2021 in the Vistahermosa shopping centre, at Av. Juan Melgarejo, 29. It's also a pub-club, known for tardeo and spring and summer nights, with views of the Bay of Cádiz and live music at weekends. Its bio says Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which makes it one of the few options on a Thursday.

6. Padreo: summer only
Padreo, on Bajada del Castillo, 1, is Grupo BanBan's newest club (2023) and opens “in holiday periods and for special events”. Right now its bio says temporarily closed. In 2026 the season ran from 30 June to mid-August. We list it so you know it exists, not to send you there in October. When it announces dates, tickets will be on its page.

What about Puerto Sherry and the beach clubs?
PhiPhi, Blu, Playa Canalla and Margarita, the four beach clubs in Puerto Sherry, have been closed since 6 July 2026, when their authorisation on port land ran out and wasn't extended. There's talk of a possible return in 2027, but nothing confirmed. Puerto Chico, a BanBan terrace on Avenida de la Bajamar, hasn't posted since September 2025 and its bio says “see you soon”. We've written a full explainer on what happened in Puerto Sherry.

By area
- Centre and old town: Banana (Ribera del Marisco), Guateque (Plaza Juan de la Cosa), Gold (Avenida Micaela Aramburu), Padreo (Bajada del Castillo, seasonal) and La Cristalera (Plaza de las Galeras Reales). All within walking distance of each other.
- Vistahermosa: La Cristalera Vistahermosa, in the shopping centre on Av. Juan Melgarejo.
- Puerto Sherry: the four beach clubs, closed since July 2026.
- Valdelagrana: we haven't found any club with confirmed activity in 2026.
Which night to go out
Outside the summer, El Puerto is a weekend town. Friday and Saturday give you every option on the list except Padreo. On Thursdays, the ones that say they open are Banana (every day) and La Cristalera Vistahermosa; for Guateque, check its calendar. From Sunday to Wednesday, Banana is the only one that claims to open. Summer turns all of this upside down: in 2026 Gold opened from Tuesday to Sunday, La Cristalera and La Cristalera VH every day, and Padreo came back for its season.

Banana, Guateque and Padreo sell tickets online, and you can buy them in the calendar on each club's page on this site. For Gold, La Cristalera and La Cristalera Vistahermosa, message us on WhatsApp and we'll sort out the table, the list or the tickets. A rule that works everywhere: bring your DNI or passport, check the age limit on the ticket and remember the door has the last word.
Missing a venue? Older guides mention places such as Trocadero, Mango Copas or Musseum. We haven't found activity from 2026 for any of them, so we don't list them. If that changes, we'll add them.
