La Cristalera Vistahermosa: Tardeo, Live Music and Nights

Updated:

Not everyone in El Puerto wants to head into the old town to go out. For the Vistahermosa side of town, the reference is La Cristalera Vistahermosa, or La Cristalera VH as the group shortens it. It's a pub-club: drinks, music, a crowd that dances and, on many weekends, a band. This is what you need to know before you go.

A second Cristalera

Grupo BanBan opened the first La Cristalera by the Guadalete in 2013. In 2021 it took the name to Vistahermosa, to the shopping centre at Av. Juan Melgarejo, 29. The group describes it as a place known for tardeo and for spring and summer nights, with views over the Bay of Cádiz and live music at weekends. In the same area the group also runs Kamikaze VH, a Japanese restaurant, which makes dinner and drinks without leaving Vistahermosa an easy plan.

When it opens

Its Instagram bio says it opens on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and adds a reminder that it reserves the right of admission. In summer 2026 the rhythm was different: in August it was posting “we open every day”. For October 2026 it promised a month “loaded with music, tardeo, drinks” and the same meeting point as always. Exact times aren't published, so if you need them for a specific day, ask us on WhatsApp.

Live music: the One More Song example

The best way to understand La Cristalera VH is the event it held on 5 September 2026 to say goodbye to the summer. It was called One More Song: a band playing at 17:00 (the post insisted on “five o'clock, don't be late”), an eighties dress code, the party extending to Lupita and dinner tips for nearby places. Tickets were sold through the link in its stories. Not every weekend has an event that big, but that's the style: an afternoon that starts with live music and turns into a night.

Who it suits

If you live or are staying around Vistahermosa and don't want to depend on a taxi into the centre, it's the obvious choice. It also suits groups that prefer starting in the afternoon over going out at 1am, and anyone who likes live music more than a DJ booth. If you're after a proper nightclub, with a dark room and a long night, the centre has Banana, Guateque and Gold. Many people do both: tardeo here, night in town.
