Gold Disco in El Puerto: Nights, Music and What to Expect

Gold is one of the clubs that keeps the centre of El Puerto de Santa María alive once the summer is over. It doesn't have a website of its own, so almost everything you'll read about it online is either old or second-hand. This guide is built on what Gold publishes itself, on its Instagram, plus one directory listing that we name.

Where and when

Gold is at Avenida Micaela Aramburu, 24, in the centre. Its Instagram bio couldn't be clearer: “we open Friday and Saturday”. That's the autumn and winter rhythm. Summer is another story: in 2026 it announced on 30 June that from that Thursday it would open every day from Tuesday to Sunday, and in August its posts said “we open every day”. So if you're reading this between October and June, plan for the weekend.

The music: a night in two parts

The best example of how Gold works is its programme for the first autumn weekend, 25 and 26 September 2026. On Friday the night started with a salsa, bachata and kizomba session, with several dance couples and DJ Sport. When the Latin session ended, “Viernes de Gold” began with DJ Kike Acuña. On Saturday, “Gold Night” with DJ Ramon Layh. Salir.com, which lists the club, mentions electronic music and guest DJs at weekends. So it's not a one-genre club: the floor changes during the night.

In summer 2026 the line-up grew. DJ Baste played every Tuesday in July and August, and the club joked that you no longer had an excuse not to go out on a Tuesday. There were Thursday parties too, such as El Relio. And before the season, at the end of April, Gold closed its doors for a weekend to move to the Feria de Primavera, in the La Peineta marquee.

Reservados VIP

Gold is open about tables: its programme posts say “VIP reservados available” for anyone who wants their own table and a night without worrying about anything. If that's your plan, message us on WhatsApp with the date, the number of people and the occasion. We'll check availability and the minimum spend for that night and confirm the details before you go. We don't publish table prices because they depend on the date, and a number without a date is worth little.

The door

Gold doesn't publish a dress code or a minimum age, and we haven't found a reliable source for either, so we won't make one up. The usual rules apply: bring your DNI or passport, dress for a night out and remember that the door has the final say on admission. If you're going for the Latin session on a Friday, comfortable shoes you can dance in will serve you better than anything else.

Friday or Saturday?

It depends on what you want from the night. Friday is the mixed one: if the programme includes a Latin session, the first hours are for salsa, bachata and kizomba, and the DJ takes over afterwards, so it suits groups where some people want to dance in pairs and others don't. Saturday, going by the September programme, is Gold Night, a DJ night from the start. In both cases the line-up is announced on Instagram a few days before, and we can tell you what's planned when you message us. If you're celebrating something, Saturday with a reservado is the classic choice.

Before or after Gold

Gold is in the centre, so it combines easily with the rest of the night. Banana and Guateque are close if your group wants to move on, and La Cristalera by the river is a good first stop on a Friday or Saturday.
